Excellent point Mq. For example: "Do unto others!" The Crusaders are allegedly hoping to get that law enacted in Iraq and Afghanistan, but not just yet it seems.

As long as Americans are happy to be stacked up naked and be generally terrorized, made very hungry, cold, sleepless, get the odd beating, be handed over to people who will really do the job by putting lots of Americans in containers and leaving them to die and so on, and otherwise suffer all that USA prisoners experienced, there's no problem with doing unto others what one hopes to have done to oneself. commondreams.org

On the other hand, the Islamic Jihadists should expect to see the USA Islamic Jihad prisoners have their heads handed to them on a plate, [with UnIslamic usurious interest rates of say 1000%], just as the Moslem Head-Hackers do to those they capture.

Koreans haven't hacked a Moslem head [not since Genghis Khan and co went on the rampage long ago]. So Islamic Jihad should expect to find Koreans doing unto others too, with interest.

On the other hand, the Korean guy was apparently working for a Korean firm supplying the USA military, so it's not surprising Islamic Jihad carried out their threat.

Tit for Tat,
Mqurice

Hi Mq - >>all looks like a re-run of history<< I know, but otoh we've seen enough of reruns that made sudden 90 or 180deg turns etc ... Much like predicting the market via rear-view mirror. Btw, those theories assume an efficient market. What's its political equivalent? Efficient foreign policy!? Meaning what - like following the path of maximum political upheaval?

btw - back to reruns - maybe one should also stress the differences also - not just technical like mutatis mutandis the difference between Homer's oral Illiad and what Holywood put together.

btw in that movie I'm lacking on some important subjects, for instance on the relationship between Achiles and Patrocles. But then again one needs to think about his/her target audience and the rating. Heck, I see again FL grimas.. - stop it DJ...

Tell you what, McQ: Since we Crusaders are letting ourselves off the hook, like Lt. Calley here,
(Judge's instructions:

Outcome:

Why don't you UN-New Zealanders go down to Iraq and clean up terrorism for us? Your redux will be obviously much cleaner, and the bad guys will be treated humanely like they were in Gallipolis. coara.or.jp

And buy the way, thanks for letting the United States use your beautiful island nation as a base from which to Crusade against the Japanese Empire. My neighbor says the Bataan was a fine vacation, and but for your interference in allowing Crusaders a base from which to launch the search for the holy grail, he would have been able to see it to its conclusion.

You get my drift, here. Don't you?

Excuse me, McQ, but you really should go back to your old keyboard, the one with the q where the a should be. Your new one is screwing up your thinking.
