Kerry is a centrist on war, defense, economy, taxes, health care, business, labor, budget, gay rights, fiscal conservatism, stem cell research, gun control, etc.

He would be considered "liberal" by the right on womens rights and the environment though frankly I strongly believe all people should embrace those issues, especially a clean environment vs. polluters, guzzlers and short-term profit motives. Why conservatives ally themselves with polluters and plunderers I can never figure out. Nothing conservative about it.

On the environment though, Kerry most recently teamed with John McCain for their CAFE standards bill. The oil lobby Bushies of course ganged up and defeated it. They want us to waste and be gouged.

Anyone who tells you Kerry is the "most liberal" is just a big fat liar digging up statistics from the 1980's, and taking even those stats out of context. Also, BTW, GW Bush and Cheney have made "liberal" a very in thing again. So "liberal" can no longer be used as a slur anyway. Look at Iraq. Liberals were right. Bush was wrong. Much for that being an insult.

Steve,

Do tell us how Kerry#2 is a centrist....

How about Kerry Reloaded?

Not too PC, I admit.
