Remember Sheikh Yassin, the blind paraplegic who was assassinated by Israel?

<<< ... Yassin supported a cease fire, and just a few weeks ago he offered to take civilians out of the circle of violence, an offer dismissed by Sharon's government ... >>>

antiwar.com;

The media treats Israel the way they treated Bush before the Iraqi war. However, even that's starting to change although I still go to the Brit papers if I want a more objective view.

The Iraqi war has taught me that we have an informal kind of media censorship in this country. There are certain sacred lambs that go untouched.......Israel is one of them. I suspect that's how McCarthy got away with what he did for so long.

I think Americans want to believe in the conservative message; that it feels right to them. That's why Reagan looked so good to so many.....of course, if anyone was about smoke and mirrors it was an actor from Hollywood.

At the same time, conservatives end up disappointing Americans and leaving them high and dry at the altar. Eventually, they will figure out there is no there there.
