In which case, China and the Arab world would have a shared goal in driving the US from the middle east. The plundering of Israel is one big fat carrot to dangle in front of the Arabs. N Korea would surely come along for the ride just for fun.

When they took Tibet we had much more reason to stand up for Tibet than we had to invade Iraq. Tibet was, after all, invaded and annexed by the Chinese. Monks were slaughtered, the land was taken from the Tibetans and ethnic Chinese have been moved in- yes, there were reasons to attack China, or at least say we would- but the big reason against it, is that China is strong.
