Nope... but as I explained, there are legal obligations that come with being an occupying military power. Defense of the occupied country is one. "Where do the libs weigh in on this touchy matter?" Don't have any idea... but the legal obligations persuant to the Geneva Accords apply to all signers of the treaty --- doesn't matter whether they are 'Lib', 'Con', Libertarian, Green, Social Democrat, etc.
