"John Kerry suspended his campaign for five days this week in honor of President Reagan. And right now, he's ahead in the polls. How's that make him feel? Disappears for a week and he's up in the polls. What else can he do now but go into hiding."

Kerry is saving all his ammo for the final few months. It's a very smart strategy. Just let Bush self-destruct and let people start praying for salvation. Then enter John Kerry, presenting himself to voters for what he really is, a strong centrist, honest, no-nonsense pragmatist with a fair and positive vision of the future.

That said, Bush is going to be leaving Kerry quite a big mess to clean up. The Bush deficits alone will be a huge headache.
