One cannot read the Patriot act and not see how it goes against the very document that started this country on it's path to greatness.

In the beginning they said it would only apply to "foreigners"

Within months, it was being used against john and jane doe average american.

It is a bad piece of legislation and the first step toward way too much gov't intrustion in our lives.
