Bushido seems about as complete a melding of religion and political power as one can imagine...

I would really appreciate some literature that supports your pov. I am very willing to read what is being said about GWBs faith and why others see that faith as a threat. I would also like some information about how that faith has changed the face of our democracy or how others see it changing our democracy. IMO having a president that believes in God is not a threat to our democracy. Our constitution is based on laws that protect us all from radical ideas or movements. No man in America has the power of control that wrests freedom from the grasp of another. But as I said, some people are afraid of GWBs faith. I'd be interested in knowing why.

I am confused about your statement. And I have had one other person tell me that she is "sick of GWB even mentioning God." She is a secularist and is as offended by the mere mention of that word God, so I consider her pov radical and without merit.
