Image stabilization--I believe Minolta has a camera with the IS connected to the sensor, making it available for all lenses. I don't know anything about the camera itself.

I see your point.

It was explained to me that Canon makes very little on the EOS 10d and adding IS to the camera would shrink that profit even more. Besides if you put IS in the lens and that raises the cost of the lens on the retail side the company makes more money especially since the IS lenses are expensive.

As to being short SNDK I wish I had sold my position in November are locked in a huge profit. I guess money is no object because I keep watching it come and go over and over. I think the next time to stock takes off I will exit this ride.
