It is hard to think of how they are going to catch the barbarians in their midst. Oh, I think the Iraqis leadership has some ideas how to catch them. They just need some breathing space so that they can rebuild their security apparatus. The big difference between Vietnam and Iraq is that 1.) We didn't push S. Vietnam to bear the largest brunt of their own self-defense, whereas in Iraq that seems to be something we're pressing for... And 2.) S. Vietnam was (is) poverty stricken and Iraq has the second largest oil reserves on the planet. Iraq has the ability to rebuild itself in a way that Vietnam never could. Hot here... But I just watched a beautiful sunset here. Still hovering around 100 degrees.. Hawk
