I am sure folks were working on it and he was reachable. It took more than seven minutes to even understand what happened. Most folks still thought it to be an accident and the initial reports had it as a small plane hitting the tower. I stood there and watched, never imagining another plane was coming. Yes there was a monumental, classically american screwup underway because of lack of preparation for this type of emergency primarily by the last admin but this one too. To blame bush for waiting seven minutes, while waiting for information and clarification before exiting the classroom is just plain malicious. And it is just plain dumb for you and your lefy friends to accept moores interpetation as the holy grail. mike

And the president is sitting in a classroom!!

Oh, that is BS, John. I am surprised you got sucked in by it. All Bush knew was that a plane of some size had hit the trade towers. Even if he had known more, it would have been wrong to rush out of the classroom. Count on Moore to make a big deal of it.

Do you think he is a fireman that should rush down a pole? Sounds like Moore has brainwashed you.
