In the first version in March, 2004 he says that he was approached by the suggestion to fly the bin Ladens out of the country but refused to act and instead referred the matter to the FBI for their approval. Now he's saying he was in consultation with the FBI over the matter. In any case, I find it hard to believe that the WH was kept completely out of the loop on a matter this important. At a minimum, C. Rice should have been consulted. No matter........thanks for the link......its cleared up at least some of the confusion I've had over this issue.
