DR,

re: Or if the Patriot Act was passed without being read (certainly, staffers read it)?

Didn't see the movie, did you? Otherwise you would know that "certainly" wasn't true.

But go ahead, disregard the facts, don't bother to pay attention to what the opposition is saying. Play the over-confident Rush "I'm laughing at what these guys are doing" game.

In the end you will lose by under-estimating the intelligence of the average US voter.

John

>> Below are some of the facts cited in Moore's movie.

Who cares? Even if some of those purported facts are true there is no wrongdoing in it. Does it reflect poorly on Bush if the Saudis own 7% of the United States? Or if Bush discussed a pipeline with the Taliban (obviously, a Moore lie)? Or if the Patriot Act was passed without being read (certainly, staffers read it)?

It doesn't matter that Bush got the bin Ladens and other Saudis out of the country after 9/11? You are the ultimate piece of work........and you have the balls to continue posting.

Not that your response is all that surprising; for an ideologue nothing really matters but the final goal.

Moore is simply a chronic, pathological liar -- with a big podium. That you believe him speaks volumes about your intellect.

Once again, you are projecting your own pathological need to lie onto someone else. Have you contacted a shrink like I suggested? I thought not.

>Does it reflect poorly on Bush if the Saudis own 7% of the United States?

Sorta... Moore's point was that the Saudis get away with a lot because of it.

From a news article from 1997:
"Oil barons court Taliban in Texas"
telegraph.co.uk

Moore actually had footage of the Taliban reps in the U.S. to discuss this.

>Or if the Patriot Act was passed without being read (certainly, staffers read it)?

I'm sure a couple of people read it, but I do know that that sort of thing happens all the time; the fact that it was so important is what leaves me skeptical.

>Moore is simply a chronic, pathological liar -- with a big podium.

I can't believe everything anyone says, but most of what his movie had to say makes sense to me and is from actual footage.

>That you believe him speaks volumes about your intellect.

Thanks much.
