For the record, and you can probably find a prediction from this thread from 18 months or so ago, I predicted we'd lose about 1,000 lives in this -- I predicted that within a couple of years there would be a vast civil war in Iraq, after we were to pull out. We'll see if that happens; we haven't pulled up yet. Things are far from stable, and we may see martial law imposed. I'm hoping for the best, but not expecting quite that. -Z
