I think the "children" approach is the best one to use to get the amendment passed.

Regardless of what one thinks of gay marriage, the amendment should be anathema to any federalist and any conservative. I can think of nothing this administration stands for that's as pernicious as that amendment.

The trend is to PC it and pretend it makes no difference.

We have factions on both sides behaving with irresponsibly in different ways towards our children. I think that's a lot more than a PC problem. We have parents who are determined to have it all. We have people breeding irresponsibly. We have other people trying to halt responsible self-checks on the irresponsible breeding. We have people who spent decades trying to destroy the school system rather than let it teach evolution. We have people who will sacrifice the school system to identity politics. And on and on.

So now some of them want to waste resources and throw out principle for a constitutional amendment to keep gays from marrying all the while claiming they're doing it for the kids. LOL. Oh, how they all care about the kids!
