Dear Abby:

I need help.

I'm leaving next week to take my little girl to visit my mother in the midwest. We're very excited to be visiting Grandma and seeing my daughter's cousins.

The only problem is my entire family is a hotbed of liberal activism.

My mother thinks Bowling for Columbine is an excellent movie. She'll probably rank Fahrenheit 9/11 right up there with Gone With the Wind.

What can I do? I'm worried about having to discuss politics with my liberal family. How do I tell them their party is out of touch with modern day realities?

Help me on this Abby.

Signed,
