Yes, It certainly appeared to be a long time in its coming. According the statements from the Unicom execs, GSM1x will be their primary focus. This could also represent a very positive surprise to the ‘analyst” community as I don’t believe they have any of this (GSM upgrades to GSM1x handsets = added CDMA handset sales with 100% Q chipset share) built into their numbers.

TT, when questioned in his recent presentations about the apparent “sluggishness” in China, wasn’t concerned and was confident that the 2H04 we would see a rebound in China.
