What Chinu writes is a lie. Chinu has no interest in the truth and is one of the worst posters on SI. (He ranks ahead of AS as he started a deceitful thread, and we know how bad AS is...(s)) The handover was stated to occur even before they started the war... appropos to the topic, there seems to be a claim by the Democrats that Bush was "forced" into turning over the show to Iraqis...... Chinu seems to be a big proponent of the notion. Gee, and here I thought a hand over is what they wanted and what was appropriate. silly me.
