I like the Lakoff point that Ken (FL) posted, the one that argues the right has learned the political virtues of metaphors over arguments. And of staying on message.

I have been reminded of that as well during this happening. I'm so glad FL posted it.

Not bad John. I take your point. Has anyone prior to Bush used the "mindless campaign stuff of the Bush campaign in which the message of the day is endlessly and perfectly repeated." Kerry team seems to have picked up on too, dont you think, just a bit?? I guess the bush advantage is having the radio right--limbaugh, hannity, coulter on point. Moore is too off the wall for that and franken tried and flailed. (g) mike
