I absolutely agree with you. The two parties and their members are both guilty of buying elections, and I have no idea where it will stop. $450,000,000 on campaign spending for two individuals is insane...and people are quiet because they hope this insanity brings the election home for their party...what ever happened to what is best for our country?

It's a good thing they're not counting on my contribution. I prefer to support childrens charities.
USA would be far better off if we had campaign finance laws similar to the UK, where spending is limited at all levels. That system prevents elections from being bought by the deepest pockets.
