LBJ committed a terrible sin escalating the war based on lies. It's a similar sin to the one Bush committed though worse. However in those days one did not have the Vietnam experience to learn from. Bush did and he ignored it anyway. What Bush has us in now is a situation where ifg we are lucky, we only lose 10,000 Americans killed or maimed and only spend 400 billion dollars. All to take out a tyrant who was not threatening us. In FAHRENHEIT 9-11 Moore shows both Rice and Powell in 2001 stating thst Saddam poseed no threat to us. Saddam also had nothing to do with 9-11. Meanwhile, Osama walks free somewhere, the half brother of the man who financed Bush's first company.

But I know how a George Bush or Ronald Reagan would have acted.

They would have hired an Ollie North to run some guns?
