i saw a dragonfly close up this weekend, several actually.
almost went for the camera and then said, "no... croc's
already got the bug world covered."


Whenever you get the chance to shoot a dragon,
always do so.
Very interesting (to me) to see which species are where and when.
They are very seasonal, and some are migratory.
Each species very much associated with certain kinds of habitat.
Some are highly sensitive to environmental contaminants.

In other words, dragonflies tell us many things about a place.
