Your "Ought to have" is far different than Kerry's "reserves the right". I don't think there are many on either side who think the US doesn't "reserve the right" to act unilaterally to protect itself; including me. Where you set the bar is the question.


You're absolutely right......and when you read the entire portion of the interview on Iraq, and not just the parts cherry picked by the right to make their point, you will see that he was careful, and do I dare say, diplomatic in his approach.

Oh what I wouldn't do to have a president who can walk and talk and crawl on his belly like reptile all at one time. And actually sound like he's educated and competent! <g>

And for the millionth time......how did we get into this mess? Everyone I know swears they didn't vote for him! ;~)
