And as I have been saying to Nadine, "intentions" are highly over rated and by themself are insufficient reason for the grand scale actions taken by the administration.

Taking the issue a little further, I suspect most countries in the world would want to have nukes and fancy missiles...sooner or later most of them will. Nothing curbs one's enthusiasm for having weapons than the feeling of safety. If America is really interested in preventing proliferation of WMD, then we should spend less money on making arms and more money on establishing the rule of law that is backed up by trade agreements rather than the US marines.
