From a linguistic point of view, Bush's speeches were misleading- whether he intended them to be, or not, is another question- but the closeness of some of the unrelated points, led people to believe what they believe. Anyone who studies language could tell you that was likely. People are designed to relate things, and to draw connections. I am pretty sure speechwriters know about this.

If you look hard enough you will find a link between me and the royal family of england, that doesn't mean they'll be crowning me king anytime soon.

You are pretty easily confused yourself. I see they got you believing that if they can prove there was contact between iraq and al quida then that is grounds enough for war. Well its not. al quida had contact with plenty of countries. We surely know they had plenty of contact with saudi arabie, probably still do and probably enough to really justify action. I see no reason for war in iraq because iraq and al quida had fleeting moments of contact. And if it did justify war. How come now after all this time they are still trying to dig it out and justify it. Thats the kind of stuff that usually happens before the war.

you need a jarhead to do all of your thinking for you??

I met Scott Ritter. Iraq Weapons inspector UN. Go and hear him talk. The doctors came, the medical chiefs came, the top professionals were there.

It will blow your mind.
