chapq, Re: Unicom / GSM1x and ChinaNex story “Unicom will launch GSM/1x handset on July 19 which allows cell phone users to roam between GSM and CDMA networks by supporting SIM for GSM and UIM for CDMA. Interestingly, the handset is designed for China Mobile GSM customers." TT at a recent presentation (can’t remember which) during the Q&A mentioned a dual mode handset for China, stating it had provision for two SIM cards. I believe he stated (or questioned if) one was for China Mobile.
