term limits

Term limits? Surely you jest. You will see global warming before you see term limits in our Congress. Now, should we have them? Hell yes!! Will the the voting public force this to occur? No way! The average voter doesn't care, loves what they have, hasn't thought through the issues or isn't bright enough to figure it out. BTW, I would be very happy with a two term representative, a one term senator and a two term President. And also trim the pension package of the Congressional types accordingly.

If voters start to understand what really goes on in Washington, the parties will have problems, as will the candidates.

Currently, the voters are buying into the system and are enabling a poorly run government.
