The other fatso who is virulently anti-bush is Teddy. But at least he is able to co-sponsor the leave no child behind legislation at the beginning of the bush term(even though he felt betrayed later on by bush) and more recently advised other dems to shut up about reagan when he said reagan indeed ended the cold war. Guys like moore think reagan was a war monger and like now the soviets were the lesser of the two evils. So yes Karen there is hope for even liberal dems. I agree that the conservative movement now needs to be retooled. It had its day and accomplished much but like the old fdr constituency the interests of the constituency are now diverging. Look at the arguing done here between libetarians and neocons and we dont even have christian right to contend with on bill's thread saying things like jesus said to get the moslems. I always thought the US was really a three party state tied into a two party system. What about a third party. Mike

Re the cesspool...(good word): Re opening divorce records of public officials....Evidently over protests by both parties, the Ryan divorce sealed records were ordered unsealed after the Chicago Tribune and 7ABC. Ryan found it was a no win situation, and decided not to run.

Now, Kerry doesn't want his divorce records unsealed. Will the Chicago Tribune and 7ABC sue to open them???

Personally, I think it was a terrible decision for a judge to open a sealed record....but he did. It ruined one career.

Now what?
