Someone told me you are a school teacher.

If that is indeed a fact you must have been very popular with your students in this day and age and, especially so in N. America!

By the way, the great Greek philosopher Aristotle (384 - 322 B.C.) pontificated on a good number of things and his
pontifications were generally regarded as gospel truths.
And when actual observations or investigations showed Aristotle to have been mistaken, a lot of folks respectfully thought that Aristotle had meant something else. LOL!

chinu. You said....." And I know lorne is a verysmart guy. But I also know that lorne sometimes pretends he is not and then attempts to interpret such phrases "in a dumb way". He does so deliberately. "......

Chinu. It's not nice to talk about people behind their backs....Now ask yourself...would I ( Lorne do that kind of thing.?) :-)

You say such nice things about me so I suppose it's OK.

You said...." attempts to interpret such phrases "in a dumb way". He does so deliberately. "......

What makes you think I am pretending to be dumb? LOL Now there's some ammo for you so use it wisely. :-)

And anyway what makes you think that there is any other way to interpret a dumb statement other that to interpret it as a dumb statement.? :-)
