The CIA and FBI failed pre 9/11. More of the same isn't the solution. If American intel can not get to the level of MOSSAD, Israel's intel, then we are screwed. The failing war in Iraq is evidence that military combat as we used to know it does not work in certain environments. Certainly not with terrorists or insurgent terrorists. We actually learned that lesson in Vietnam but the old farts from back then were sure there were other reasons for that defeat. Hence, we have a new war where the old lesson is being relearned. Get it this time! I am sick of this country having to relearn old lessons because the right doesn't want to move forward.
