Moore himself will net at least 25% of box office receipts.

Rightwingers just use it an excuse not to see the film.
Actually, of $10 paid for a ticket, about $9 would go to the theatrer and prints and advertising. The $1 would go to the distributor and be taken as overhead. So Moore sees nothing until the film crosses a certain net breakeven point. Moore will make a huge amount on the backend though, mainly on DVD, but dont be surprised if Moore gives away DVD's before the election.
