Here is one tangible contrast between Bush and Kerry. Bush is primarily influenced by the Neocons. Not entirely, but primarily. The Neocons openly call for destabilizing the Middle East and antagonizing the existing governments, especially Syria and Iran.
Here is something from the Kerry camp:

... the interim government should be encouraged to promote constructive relations with neighbors, possibly including Iran and Syria, who are interested in a peaceful and stable region ...

Yes, its a more reasoned approach to foreign diplomacy.....something we haven't seen in a few years.

K.Bailey Hutchison (GOP Bushie) called for 25-year war today. I guess that's the rightwing's main strategy. Create a permanent war even if you have to start the fights yourself, then scare people into picking the more militarily-oriented of the two parties. Ie: the party most in bed with big defense contractors.
