I don't see the CIA or State Dept. being ignored. But to see when they were, one need look much more recently than JFK. Clinton refused to meet with then-CIA director James Woolsey. Remember when a Cessna flown by a crazed pilot crashed on the WH lawn? People joke to this day that it was Woolsey trying to get an appointment with Clinton. Maybe Woolsey was trying unsuccessfully to warn Clinton about a growing terrorist threat. The leftist loons will spread any lie, distortion, or revision of history they think will help them take power.
