I'm pretty damned angry at Moore's statements about Americans during his recent European tour. He should STFU when he's ahead.

what did he say?

I think you have "Americans" confused with "Bushies". One trick the rightwing uses is when you attack Bush or his policies, they say you're attacking America, just because Bush is currently in charge. That calls into question your patriotism. They used this trick successfully in 2002 and 2003 but that dog dont' hunt anymore. Now they're the ones who have damaged our country and that is clear to see.

In fact, the most patriotic thing in the world we can do for our country is to remove a corrupt, dishonest and inept leader when we find ourselves stuck with one. Clearly, Bush has done us all a lot of damage, lied repeatedly and got caught, though of Bushies would disagree and try to spin their way around that. They want four more years of endless war, one-party rightwing rule and government for the fat cats by the fat cats.

So what did Moore say about "Americans"? Post it. I've never heard him diss all Americans for anything. But maybe he thinks Americans have been duped by the right wing propaganda, which was why he decided to make his film. That would make sense. Bushies clearly motivated Moore as he's never been motivated before. Just remember to separate "Americans" from "Bushies". Two very different things.
