He's got some good messages; they're on his site. It's just a bit early in the process for the media to care.

Kerry will get his chance to put his foot in his mouth on the big stage; we haven't even reached the conventions yet.

We forget that since the primaries were early, the people who passionately care about this got their chance to get revved up months earlier than normal. People who aren't very politically inspired don't give a s**t during the primaries.
