Ted, MM and his film are not going away. The # of theaters is expanding from 800 to 2K.

Just in time for Spider-man 2 and the summer blockbuster season? Not a brilliant marketing move. Maybe Moore should have released his film closer to the election, like in September.


We'll see......I don't think the markets overlap that much. So far the film's drop off is fairly normal.....down 30% from weekend grosses.

JJ has faded into the back drop.

True, but she got a LOT of miles out of that one stunt.

Actually, it was a good weekend for Moore, because there was no major mobie opening, so they can say they were #1. The movie would make the same amount on a different weekend, but something else would be #1, which would mean less gloating, and remarks such as: Shrek / Harry Potter / Garfield / Spiderman beat Moore.
