Of course, Bush hasn't helped any, preferring to let the results speak for itself, and ironically they have. But when someone puts world opinion up there on the priority list, I think about why we should even bother with those who would consider Osama to be better than Bush.

The poll was taken in the Euro countries with the most Muslims. I suspect the totals for OBL and Bush were 6% and 5% respectively; that is, neither being well liked but OBL edging out Bush slightly because of the indigenous Muslim populations.

However, its too bad that you attribute the vote results simply to the Europeans' bias. I really think its a combo of bias plus poor treatment by Bush early on as well as the sizeable Muslim populations.
