"I'm not entirely clear how you make the leap from believing in some God-like force to believing in Jesus and Christianity" I was stating that a God like force would be a minimum to produce life, not that that was my personal belief. This based on my contention that things don't make themselves. But I haven't seen your theory yet. ;o) That said, my personal belief is that there is a God, and that Jesus is not necesarily born to a virgin and is the specific son of God (although it is possible), but was a messenger of God to put out some good rules to live by. Good rules imo.
