OT: Listeners were incensed-calling the Liberals thieves and criminals I'm in Ontario and I said the same thing on this very thread ... 2 billion ... gun registry... someone should go to jail... then again which politicians aren't ? :o) We need to recycle them before their hooks get too deep...

BTW: a young man was shot dead at 2:00 PM yesterday in Toronto (riddled with bullets was one report) after apparently trying to flee from a man with whom he had an altercation in a parking lot. He was left dead in the back yard of a home where the perpetrator had caught up with him... The 24 year old victim was not known to police so it's a good bet he's just a poor innocent victim. Now we shouldn't worry because of course the 2 billion dollar all seeing gun registry juggernaut will soon bring him (gunman) to justice... I will sleep well tonight because..... I'm in Montreal LOL..

Also our current police (tough on crime, critical of the futility of the gun registry) chief is not having his contract renewed. It appears that some liberal leaning police board members (that's another unmitigated mess and embarrassment here too) have orchestrated this. Rumours are the mayor has had some influence also.... sigh...

Clowns to the left of me... Jokers to the right,
here I am ... stuck with the Liberals again...

with sincere apologies to Steeler's Wheel...

I know a bureaucrat retiring next year. 70% of best 5 years, indexed... as a pension... sweet eh ! Anyway... he tells me more contractors are being hired... maybe someone figured out we can't afford this largesse ??
