I agree. Which is why I responded to your post. You said:

I questioned your assertion of "rightfully." And I questioned your assumed motivation for their lack of fear.

Wither fear? As a reaction, it's individual, as you say, although it's affected by mass hysteria or ambient sangfroid. Objectively, it's arguable whether fear is warranted since there are gaps in our intel. People fill in those gaps differently. If one does respond with fear, though, that fear is not likely to be counteracted by Bush hatred. That's another thread of the psyche entirely.
