Cheney to Girl Scouts: "Eat Me" WASHINGTON - Vice President Dick Cheney, recently overheard dropping the "F-bomb" to Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, has struck again. At a brief photo op this morning, he told the members of Girl Scout Troop 1327 of Neurath, Alabama to "eat me" when one of them asked him to buy some Girl Scout cookies. He also remarked that the troop leader looked like she "likes to snack on Girl Scout cookies, if you know what I mean." Cheney spokesman Bob Farvit later said that the vice president had not apologized for what he said, but "felt tons better" after saying it. A spokesman for the White House said that President Bush "thought the vice president was pretty funny, for a bald guy." The Vice President is scheduled to meet with Pope John Paul II next week. thespoof.com
