"I favored the war in Iraq because I am unalterably opposed to dictatorial tyranny under whatever guise it seeks to impose its will on others."

Are you prepared to live in a country that is in a perpetual state of war against the vile dictatorships that still remain? So the question really is why was iraq chosen and was it the right choice. I know alot of people who are far more worried about iran and NK, some back then and some now. And what about Sudan where about 1/2 million folks have been killed and many others raped, tortured and ethnically cleansed from territory they were living on. mike

<<< Not sure exactly where you are coming from>>>

I believe you are sincere. I agree totally with you on tyranny.

I could understand this war if we went into it based on your sense of justice.

I do not feel that most people who favor this war share your sense of justice or have the kind of integrity that you have.

I would still disagree with you on the need to rush into this war, but at least I would know your motives were okay. I do not feel the same way about others who support this war.
