It will be well worth my effort to find out.

I'd be interested in hearing whenever you find anything. I'm having trouble imagining any practical way to do that.

I know of someone who lives near the border between Oregon and Washington in order to pay income taxes in Washington and sales taxes in Oregon--IOW, none. That's the best of both worlds. I'll bet he doesn't care that he can't deduct either from his Federal income tax.

These proposals usually include an "average" based on income, and you must produce any large receipts if you take more. IE: boat, car, etc.
