Kerry's vote in the senate didn't say "go ahead GW and break your promises, invade unilaterally without a post-invasion plan or a real coalition". Kerry promised to hold Bush's feet to the fire if he didn't uphold his promises on Iraq. Bush didn't. Kerry has been holding Bush's feet to the fire ever since. If Bush had listened to Kerry on Iraq we would not be in the mess we're in over there.

There was a right way and a wrong way. Bush chose the wrong way and lied to the American People (and the Senate).
