checking on gas storage numbers . . .

For the last 10 weeks, the gas build has averaged 86.1 billion cu.ft./wk - that's just over 8% higher than the 5 yr. average build.

Current storage totals are right at the 5 yr. average.

There are over 1400 rigs turning in the US - about 150 more than there were this time last year, and last year was a pretty busy year for drilling.

But gas is selling at $6.25/thou.cu.ft. That's getting close to twice the average price at this time of year in the past 5 yrs.
