this one is not for me . looks like management who know how to look out for themselves. No pretense of looking after shareholders too.

Paul,

At one time I had pretty high hopes for INLD. It seemed to me they were moving in the right direction in a lot of places and it was just a matter of getting over the hump. Unfortunately, management is a ball and chain around an otherwise good concept.

They burned through a ton of cash acquiring profitable, cash flow positive hosting companies, then did such a horrible job integrating the businesses, they lost all the customers. By all rights, they should have hit profitability a year ago, but as things stand, they'll probably be out of cash in a year.

I still check the price now and then, but haven't had a position in the stock for quite awhile. IMO it's not even a good trading stock anymore.

For a long shot small position, it might be okay, but I wouldn't be the farm on it.

This is one I bookmarked a few days ago, but haven't had time to research yet. At the moment it looks like it'd be like trying to catch a falling knife. I took a quick look at the numbers and thought it looked interesting though.

I don't know enough about it one way or the other to form an opinion on it, but figured I'd toss it into the pot in the form of an unresearched idea in case anyone else wants to see what it looks like.

OT FWIW paul looks like you were right on NRGN it can now be purchased below 7 if you are so inclined. I guess i should have sold more at higher levels. I still think its a good buy. I am also looking at auo, icos and possibly increasing positions in pze and tnt. anyone familiar with taiwanese accounting?

Trimmed a bit of INLD today; added to my losing position in COMS.

No change in COMS story since last year. And stock's about where it was last year too.

It trades now at $5+ with $3.65 in cash, and with no ltd (according to Yahoo). Couple of decent value funds still have positions - Olstein Financial, EQ Advisors (according to Yahoo).

In a 6/23 MarketWatch report, "Chief Executive Bruce Claflin told CBS MarketWatch that 3Com is beginning to see the effects of higher revenue from its enterprise networking products and increased cost-cutting.
'We're growing for the first time, on a year-over-year basis, in five years," Claflin said. "Market conditions are getting better and we are taking share.'"

Yeah, well maybe so and maybe not. I'll try to hold on for another 12 months to see what develops.
