The point is that this is yet another indicator that Bush-2004 means Draft-2005.

That's quite a leap of faith. They did the same thing during the Gulf War. Did they start the draft then? Nope.

Btw, when people are supposed to be falling over one another in enlisting in the armed forces, how come the government is asking tired and retired soldiers to get back into the fight?

Hate to break it to you Dipy, but these are people in the Inactive reserve pool. These would be people that have done one enlistment (4 years). After they get out, they are then put on the Inactive Reserve List for 4 more years. I'd hardly label these people as old geezers. Also, they ALL new about this commitment PRIOR to enlisting. Get over it...

Alas, none of this fits your agenda, eh?
