Autumn would have commodities still deep in bear territory, and bonds and stocks moving in lockstep like the 1980s and 1990s

But this is where the cross curents come into effect. Commodities are global, so China's spring is picking up the slack and then some in commodoties. And as for bonds and stocks, that's just Greenspan pushing buttons and pulling levers, so much liquidity that everything gets bought, and the result is like Mish said, a false spring.
