The buck stops where? Over there. As an ex-military guy I remember the chain of command. Guess who is at the top? Don't tell me! That's one of the 56 errors? Perhaps that's 57.

You stated: "Richard Clark has said the movie is filled with lies." Nowhere in either of those articles does Clarke mention the movie let alone that it is "filled with lies." The statements by Clarke involve only the controversy over who approved the flights that took the Saudi nationals out of the country shortly after 9/11 and when. This is what the movie actually states: June 20th, 2004 11:41 am What Fahrenheit 9/11 Says About the Saudi Flights Out of the Country After September 11 WHAT THE FILM SAYS: Sen. Byron Dorgan: We had some airplanes authorized at the highest levels of our government to fly to pick up Osama Bin Laden's family members and others from Saudi Arabia and transport them out of this country. Narration: It turns out that the White House approved planes to pick up the bin Ladens and numerous other Saudis. At least six private jets and nearly two dozen commercial planes carried the Saudis and the Bin ladens out of the U.S. after September 13th. In all, 142 Saudis, including 24 members of the bin Laden family, were allowed to leave the country. Additionally, in an interview with author Craig Unger, the film makes reference to the fact that these individuals were briefly interviewed before they were allowed to leave. Now, although the impression may be given that W signed a permission slip, it doesn't say that. It says "the White House" and "the highest levels of government." Moore obviously relied on Clarke's March testimony before the 9/11 commission in making those statements, but even though the movie was already out on 5/25 when Clarke claimed "responsibility" for the decision, there was no need for Moore to edit it out because Clarke did work for the White House and he was at a high gov't level. Additionally, nowhere in the movie does it claim the flights left while airspace was still closed to commercial flights. Moore clearly states that the flights left after 9/13. BTW, if you saw the film you'd know that Moore lambasts the democrats for dropping the ball as well. K
