""if the 'Wire Services' (and others) have 'omitted' and or altered the facts in reporting the news to the American public at the request of the White House--how often has this happened, and to what extent?" "

I would hope everyone would be curious about that. Especially certain people who are looking at the Moore film so closely for errors. Surely they will be terribly concerned by this news? I do hope they spend some time on this question- it is much more important than Moore's movie- since it affects all news media outlets, and not just one movie (one very good movie, but still, it is just one movie).

One thing I've always wondered about ... I've read that 1 in 7 wounded die on average.

Every day we hear "1 soldier killed and 10 wounded." But you never hear "three soldiers who had earlier been wounded died today."

So are they just throwing the wounded into the not-killed-in-combat-but-wounded category and then leaving them there when they die a few days later?

Maybe that's what Rather is talking about.

Is this a quote of Dan Rather commenting on F911?

"Omission of the facts," and or it's partner "propaganda" is what we expect from countries who's people don't share the rights that we are "supposed to have," which is guaranteed by our Constitution.

Selective morality???
